State Police from the Brewster barracks issued an alert on Wednesday for 42-year-old Angela Cioffi, who is wanted on charges that include second-degree forgery and petit larceny stemming back to her 2013 arrest for forging checks.

Following her arrest, Cioffi failed to appear for court proceedings the following year and a bench warrant was issued by the Town of Southeast Court for her arrest.

Police said that Cioffi may reside in the state of Florida and previously lived in New Fairfield, Conn. She was described as a 5-foot-6 female with black hair and brown eyes, weighing approximately 140 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding Cioffi’s whereabouts have been asked to contact state police by calling (845) 677-7300.
